Toan B. Lam
Toan is currently an undergraduate student in the department of Mechanical Engineering at UC Davis.
He is currently a fourth year senior and plans to graduate the spring of 1998.
His interests in engineering range from automobiles and transportation to computers. He is currently
completing his undergraduate summer fellowship in transportation. He works on the Neighborhood Telecenters Project and helps with web conversion of the reports, regular web updating, and videoconference analysis. He helped to update the Telecommunications Travel and Research Program pages and the Neighborhood Telecenters Project pages. If all goes well, he will be back during the school year for another student fellowship.
He also enjoys engineering design and three dimensional computer aided design.
For the future, he hopes to find a job in the Silicon Valley and attend graduate school eventually.
Toan has lots of interests outside of school. He enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and various other sports.
Aside from sports, he has recently gained tremendous interest in computers. This has prompted further interest in activities such as web-surfing and computer gaming. He also likes to dabble in web design, using his creativity to enhance his personal web page at http://www.engr.ucdavis.edu/~tblam/.
