Partnerships with Government and Industry
Partnerships with government and industry enhance the Institute's research, education, and outreach mission. Partnerships enable the Institute to investigate new transportation trends and technologies, and to launch new initiatives. Partners provide valuable funding, access to internships, and enhanced educational opportunities through visiting lecturers, workshops and special courses. Partnerships at ITS-Davis fall into major categories and are listed below. Key programs in each area are featured.
Innovative partnerships with universities hold great promise for the progress of clean energy systems. ITS-Davis' co-development of research and outreach — and in its interdisciplinary setting with many partners — is leading the way.
