UC Alliances
ITS-Davis is a member of the statewide UC Institute of Transportation Sudies, a multi campus research unit administered by the UC Office of the President with additional branches at UC Berkeley and UC Irvine. ITS-Davis coordinates with the two other ITS programs through the University of California Transportation Center (UCTC), California Partners for Advanced Transit and Highways (California PATH), and other initiatives.
UCTC, one of the ten federally designated centers for transportation reserach and education, funds research, graduate fellowships, and conferences on the member campuses. UCTC is funded by the California Department of Transportation and the U.S. Department of Transportation.
California PATH, a state-sponsored research program on intelligent transportation systems, is headquartered in Richmond, CA., and administered by UC Berkeley. California PATH is funded principally by the California Department of Transportation.
